LOVE HAS NO EXPIRATION DATE!

One of the things I love most about my style of photography is the inclusion of the environment where I'm shooting. This couple exchanged their vows in a Spa in Shreveport, La. The Spa is so elegant and beautiful, and the photographic possibilities were endless! I have backdrops and the like, but I really love setting up shoots in locations that can produce stunning images from that area. This is a couple who found love in the latter stages of life! Sometimes this is the greatest experience, because both individuals have matured and reached a place in life where they understand what they want and require! So for those of you that are reading this blog, DON'T GIVE UP ON LOVE, AND LOVE WANT GIVE UP ON YOU!

My Favorite Girls

Being a photographer really has it's advantages! I get to create beautiful images of those who are special to me. This is my wife and 2 daughters, Taaliyah 7, and Nyla 6. I also have two sons Kevon 16 and Shad who is 11 years old. Whether its school events, Holidays, or just everyday life, photography gives me the ability to create lasting memories of my family who I love so much! Having the technical skills and creative intuition is an added bonus. Not to mention it feels great to get paid for something you really enjoy doing. This was a promotional photo shoot for our Salon (Yes, me and my wife own a Salon in Shreveport) so even though it was for our business these images that I created of my favorite 3 girls are priceless. Sometimes as photographers we get so busy with our career, that we forget to document the precious lives growing under the same roof with us!

JUST ANOTHER WAY TO EXPRESS MYSELF!

Well, I noticed everyone is blogging! So I decided to jump on board. This will give me another avenue to creatively express myself. This is one of my favorite images, because of the facial expression, and the intense colors! So what do you think?
